ABOUT THE POSITION

Jeenie®️ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving key business outcomes by shepherding the discovery, design, and development of high quality software. Your primary focus will be on managing your development team, but you will also be expected to discover new opportunities and contribute to the strategy of the department and the business as a whole. ABOUT SUCCESS IN THE POSITION
Some of the main initiatives you’ll be part of:

Serve in the Product Owner role of one of our development teams, prioritizing the backlog in a way that will most effectively drive key business metrics.
Meet with internal and external stakeholders to identify burning problems worth solving as well as potential solutions to those problems.
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, Customer Development, Growth, and Linguist Experience to synthesize information into clear requirements for the development team.
Research the overall market, potential partners, and competitors to guide prioritization and contribute to the overall strategy of the business.
Maximize the value of the business while also creating an elite, delightful experience for all user segments.

ABOUT YOU
Here’s what we believe our best applicants bring with them into the role:

5+ years in software product management working directly with engineering teams daily.
Direct experience managing the development of AI features.
Experience with agile methodologies (Kanban is a plus).
Roles at multiple early/growth stage SaaS startups.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to identify the root problem quickly even if stakeholders are not expressing it explicitly or are merely outlining symptom.
Ability to ruthlessly prioritize and cut scope down to only what is necessary.
Ability to find alternative solutions to user problems that don’t require software solutions to preserve dev team capacity.
An eye for intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Amplitude or similar products.
Former startup co-founder.
Decent fantasy football skills.
