Senior Project Manager, Data Services

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Jeenie is seeking a Principal Project Manager, a genuine force multiplier to drive high-impact, complex data initiatives across our rapidly growing Data Services department. This is a high-stakes, hands-on leadership role where you are the ultimate owner of both the people and the portfolio. You won't just manage; you will command the execution, setting strategic direction, obliterating roadblocks, and ensuring flawless delivery across a complex, fast-moving portfolio. This role reports directly to the Program Manager.

YOUR MISSION:

As a Principal Project Manager, you will be instrumental in scaling our entire Data Services operation. Your core responsibilities include:

• 🚀 End-to-End Ownership: Own delivery across multiple complex, parallel data projects, setting aggressive timelines, managing critical dependencies, and holding your team accountable to every commitment.

• 🤝 Team & Vendor Command: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Project Managers and Coordinators. Directly coordinate with freelance linguists and vendors: assign work, manage timelines, and resolve issues fast.

• 🧠 AI Acceleration: Champion the use of AI tools and agents to dramatically accelerate data analysis, QA, and project workflows. Proactively identify and integrate new ways AI can optimize team operations.

• 📈 Data & Risk Mastery: Utilize Google Sheets to build critical tracking systems and dashboards. Surface sharp insights and flag project risks to leadership before they become roadblocks.

• 🔥 Operational Excellence: Triage and balance competing priorities in real time, making sharp, sound judgment calls. Pivot quickly for time-sensitive requests while maintaining a relentless focus on long-term strategic deliverables.

• ⚙️ Scaling & Strategy: Shape the future of Data Services by defining team structure, optimizing tooling, and establishing best-in-class processes.

• Proven Command: Proven track record of managing complex projects independently (experience in startup, tech, or data/AI environment is a plus).

• 2+ Years Mentorship: Experience managing or mentoring a team of PMs, coordinators, or similar roles.

• Complexity Navigator: Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, you keep teams focused and executing when priorities collide.

• Whatever It Takes Attitude: You are ready to roll up your sleeves and execute the work yourself when the mission demands it.

THE OPERATOR:

• AI & Data Native: Hands-on experience with AI tools/agents, you use them naturally to work smarter.

• Analytical Power: Strong analytical thinker comfortable working with data, spotting patterns, and drawing actionable conclusions.

• Language Services Experience: Experience in language services, localization, or linguistic data production; familiarity with transcription, annotation, or data collection workflows.

• Startup DNA: Genuine love of fast-paced startup environments; you thrive on speed and change.

BONUS POINTS:

• Experience with Notion or similar project management tools.

• Background working in or alongside AI research or data teams.
